Stieg Larsson Reading Order
4 series · 15 books · Born 1954-08-15
Swedish journalist and political activist Stieg Larsson created one of crime fiction's most influential series with the Millennium novels, which gained international prominence after his unexpected death in 2004. His dark, complex mystery thrillers introduced readers to investigative journalist Mikael Blomkvist and hacker Lisbeth Salander, characters whose popularity spawned multiple film adaptations across Sweden and Hollywood. Though Larsson's prolific career was cut short, his work has become a cornerstone of contemporary Nordic noir and continues to resonate with readers who value intricate plotting and socially conscious storytelling.
