Brad Magnarella is an urban fantasy author who introduced readers to Professor Croft, a character living a secret magical existence while maintaining an academic career. His debut novel Demon Moon, released in 2016, launched a series exploring the collision between the protagonist's dual identities as both educator and practitioner of the arcane arts. Magnarella had previously established the world through two prequel novels, Book of Souls and Siren Call, building the mythology before the main series began.
